It’s almost time to go back to school. How are you feeling — nervous, excited, dreading it?
It’s normal to feel a plethora (vocab. word!) of emotions. You might feel anxiety, resentment, and even sadness that the fun-filled days of summer are coming to an end.
To ease yourself through this transition, try to do a few simple, minor things to get yourself in the “school mindset.” Read before bedtime, think about the classes you’ll be taking soon, and re-establish a normal sleep and eating routine.
And remember, it will take a while — maybe even up to a month — to get back in the groove of school. Just think of your friends and what you love about school, and you’ll be back in the groove in no time. You rock!
